Blueberry® from Dutch Passion is one of the most famous, sweetest and most recognized cannabis strains in the world. Created in the 1970s by the renowned breeder DJ Short and introduced by Dutch Passion in 1998, this strain became the basis for the entire Blue Family genetic line. The strain is a multiple winner of international cups, including 1st place at the High Times Cannabis Cup 2000 .

Cultivation Features and Appearance

Blueberry® forms compact, sturdy plants with short internodes and large, broad leaves. The buds are dense, heavy and incredibly resinous. The main visual appeal of the variety is its ability to acquire luxurious blue, purple and violet shades during ripening, especially when night temperatures drop at the end of flowering.

Thanks to the favorable ratio of inflorescences to leaves, the cones are very easy to prune. The variety is great for experienced growers who know how to maintain stable conditions and a balanced diet. The flowering period is 8–9 weeks , and the yield reaches 350–450 g/m² .

Unique taste and balanced effect

The terpene profile is dominated by terpinolene (29.8%), which, combined with caryophyllene and myrcene, gives the strain its famous, rich, sweet, fruity aroma. The taste of the dried buds resembles a juicy, delicate blueberry.

Despite its indica dominance (80%), Blueberry® has a unique effect thanks to its sativa genetics. The effect is characterized by powerful euphoria, clarity of thought and mental uplift without excessive drowsiness or lethargy, harmoniously combining deep physical relaxation with a great mood (THC reaches 20%).
