Passion Fruit® by Dutch Passion: A juicy fruit hybrid with XXL yields

Passion Fruit® from Dutch Passion is one of the tastiest and most potent hybrids in the Orange Family collection. Created by crossing the exceptional Sweet Pink Grapefruit clone with the multiple award-winning Orange Bud , this variety has inherited a striking heterosis (hybrid impulse). The variety has gained international recognition, winning 1st place at the Copa del Sol 2018 in Peru among outdoor crops.

Growth Characteristics and Cultivation Dignity

Passion Fruit® is characterized by incredible vitality and resistance. During the growing season, the plants maintain a compact shape with thick stems, and during flowering they actively stretch, forming massive, resinous and very sticky inflorescences. The variety adapts perfectly to any formation methods (SOG, SCROG, topping, tying).

The flowering period lasts 8–9 weeks . The plant tolerates low night temperatures well (which can give the leaves beautiful purple hues) and shows excellent results both indoors, in greenhouses or outdoors. Expected yields reach 500–600 g/m² and more.

Aromatic Profile and Psychoactive Effect

Due to the dominance of beta-myrcene (38.1%) and alpha-pinene (17.0%), the variety has a unique terpene profile. The aroma is reminiscent of a confectionery department or fresh passion fruit with sweet-sour citrus and grape notes.

The THC content is 20-25%. The effect combines the deep physical relaxation of indica with the high spirits, sociability and mental clarity of sativa. The effect is powerful and psychoactive, but does not cause paranoia or a heavy feeling of emptiness.
