Purple #1® from Dutch Passion is a legendary strain from the Dutch Outdoor series, created in the early 1980s. It is based on the original Purple Afghani, crossed in the Netherlands with high-quality Indica and Sativa lines. The strain has a perfectly balanced genotype (50% Indica / 50% Sativa) and is fully adapted to the changeable and cool Northern European climate.

Appearance and Features of Outdoor Cultivation

Purple #1® is specially developed for open ground and greenhouses. The plants grow tall (1.5–2.5 m) with elegant sativa leaf shape. At the beginning of flowering, the calyxes and small leaves of the inflorescences turn rich purple and violet shades, making the bushes extremely beautiful.

Fast flowering (only 8 weeks ) allows you to harvest before the onset of autumn frosts and rains. The average yield is 250–350 grams per bush , and the cones themselves are actively covered with a layer of resin.

Aromatic profile and Qualitative effect

The terpene bouquet of the variety is formed by a high content of alpha-pinene (25.0%), beta-caryophyllene (16.7%), and beta-myrcene (16.7%). This gives the inflorescences a pleasant fresh fruity taste and a delicate, unobtrusive aroma.

Due to its high THC content, the effect of Purple #1® is quite noticeable and qualitative. The effect is characterized by a quick, pleasant and invigorating start without excessive duration, making it a great choice for daytime relaxation outdoors.
